Pure Ceylon Cinnamon · Est. Sri Lanka
The world calls it Cinnamon. We call it home.
Sri Lanka is the original home of true Cinnamon, Cinnamomum zeylanicum. We grow it, grade it and export it to the world's most demanding buyers: bulk quills, powders, oils, teas and finished products, all from one island, one standard, single origin.

Why “true” cinnamon
Most of the world has never tasted real Cinnamon.
Roughly nine in ten “Cinnamon” products worldwide are cassia, a different, cheaper bark with a harsh one-note heat and coumarin levels high enough to be regulated in Europe. True Cinnamon, Cinnamomum zeylanicum, grows to export quality in one place on earth: Sri Lanka.
Its bark peels into paper-thin layers that roll into delicate golden quills. Its flavour is sweet, floral and complex. And its coumarin content is up to fifty times lower, which is why discerning buyers specify Ceylon by name.

What the research says
Six reasons the world reaches for Ceylon.
Ceylon Cinnamon has been studied for a range of potential wellness effects. Here is a careful summary of what current research suggests
- 01
May support healthy blood sugar
Research suggests Cinnamon may modestly improve fasting glucose and how effectively cells respond to insulin, though findings across studies remain mixed.
- 02
Rich in antioxidants
Ceylon Cinnamon supplies polyphenols and related compounds with antioxidant activity that help protect cells from oxidative stress.
- 03
May help reduce inflammation
Cinnamaldehyde and related compounds have demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity, particularly in laboratory and experimental studies.
- 04
May support heart health
Some clinical studies suggest supplementation may modestly improve cholesterol, triglyceride and blood pressure levels, though the evidence is inconsistent.
- 05
Natural antimicrobial activity
Cinnamon essential oil and cinnamaldehyde inhibit certain bacteria and fungi in laboratory studies, which is why they appear in oral and personal care products. This does not mean Cinnamon can treat an infection.
- 06
May support digestion
Traditionally used for digestive discomfort, with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that may contribute to gastrointestinal benefits. Strong human clinical evidence is limited.
The Ceylon advantage
Far less coumarin than Cassia.
Because high, prolonged coumarin intake can burden the liver, Ceylon is the grade preferred for regular, everyday use. It is the one difference your customers can taste, measure and verify on a certificate of analysis.
These statements summarise published research and have not been evaluated by the FDA, EFSA or any equivalent authority. Ceylon Cinnamon is a food ingredient, not a medicine, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Four centuries of craft
Machines still can't roll a quill.
Every quill we export is peeled and rolled by hand, by craftspeople whose families have worked Cinnamon for generations. The bark is harvested in the rainy season when it lifts cleanly from the stem, peeled with a small brass knife, and rolled layer into layer while still wet.
We pair that heritage with modern export discipline: laboratory testing, steam sterilisation, metal detection and full lot traceability from estate to container.
