Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum, 'true Cinnamon') is native to Sri Lanka. It has a delicate, sweet, citrus-honey flavour, a soft multi-layered quill that crumbles easily, and naturally ultra-low coumarin (typically 0.004 to 0.017%). Cassia is a different, cheaper species with a harsh one-note heat, a single thick bark layer, and coumarin levels up to 1%, high enough that several EU markets regulate its daily intake.

Yes. We courier pre-shipment samples of the exact lot offered, together with its certificate of analysis, so your QA team can verify grade, moisture, volatile oil content and cut before committing.

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of analysis, fumigation certificate where required, and health certificates specific to your destination market. Halal, organic and steam-sterilisation documentation are available for qualifying lots.

Standard terms are an advance with balance against shipping documents (T/T), or irrevocable letter of credit at sight for established volumes. Terms are confirmed on the pro-forma invoice for each order.

Stock grades ship within 7 to 14 days of order confirmation. Custom processing, private label and retail-packed programmes typically require 3 to 6 weeks. Sea transit from Colombo is roughly 18 to 28 days to Europe, 25 to 35 days to North America, and 7 to 14 days within Asia and the Gulf.
